Teaching Enrichment Request Form (TERF)
HP Arts funds requests from teachers at all HPISD campuses for programming and capital projects in art, band, choir, dance, debate, literary arts, orchestra, theatre, and arts integration programs in non-fine arts classes. Types of requests include arts programs, technology, equipment, and instruments – any arts enrichment programs or arts-related equipment used as a teaching tool in the classroom. HPISD teachers are invited to submit Teaching Enrichment Request Forms (TERFs) to request funds using the online form below.
HP Arts no longer requires signatures from the teacher and principal. Simply submit the online form with supporting documentation using the online form.
TERF Tips
(1) Your School Rep is instrumental in assuring TERF review in a timely manner. (2) After the Board meets, your School Rep will notify you if your TERF was approved/declined. (3) Not all TERFs can be funded. (4) HP Arts strives to allocate funding in a reasonable and proportionate manner across HPISD. (5) Submit TERFs early in the year if possible, even for something not scheduled until spring. (6) Your School Rep is your contact person for advice. (7) TERF must be arts-related, used as a teaching tool in the classroom, and for the benefit of students.
Reminder: HP Arts is unable to provide funding for tickets to performances, supply fees, lodging, or student/teacher transportation.

TERF submittal, review, and HP Arts Board approval dates for the 2024-2025 school year are as follows:
Last year, HP Arts funded nearly $87,000 in arts projects benefiting HPISD. Programs included fine arts enrichment activities, instruments/refurbished bagpipes, art and music equipment, choreographers, video projections, artist performances, writing workshops and more at all 8 HPISD schools including Pre-K. Funds distributed are received from two primary sources – our cornerstone benefactor, La Fiesta de las Seis Banderas, and from family contributions during Back-to-School Sign-Up.
